Best cheat day ever! Went here for clam strips but everything was so good! We got clam chowder, hush puppies, sashimi tuna, ribeye sandwich, and the fried platter with clam strips, crab cake stuffed full of crab, shrimp, and fish. Possibly the best clam strips I've ever had! And our server Josie was awesome! Everything had so much character and prices didn't break the bank. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

This was my first trip to P.J's and it won't be my last. The food was very good, the mixed drinks were excellent, and the beer was ice-cold.

We were Familiar with PJ's in St. Pete Beach, which is currently closed due to the hurricanes. So we tried this one. Menus are near the same with a few exceptions. We started out with Nicole at the bar and I had a mojito and a dozen ? oysters. They come from the east coast and were great and also had a mojito. She got grouper nuggets also wonderful. She won't drink anything except Budweiser in a bottle and I had a mojito. The menu says baked potato not available until after 5pm but the shift changed and Jeannine our replacement server said oh yeah you can get baked ? now. They are ready. So I then ordered Chicago Grouper with baked ? and coleslaw and a mojito. She decided to go with Jeanine's recommendation the baked scallops instead of the crab cakes with a baked ? and coleslaw and I got a mojito. We both liked the coleslaw and the baked potatoes were great. Now the Chicago Grouper was absolutely the ? knee's to me and then I tried her scallops. She never eats her full portion. She did tonight and I had a mojito. Only complaint is the bill was a little stiff. But we ate like ? and Lil Princess oh and I had another Mojito. I think I set some sort of new record for the amount of those one can drink in a night, when generally I have about 1 a year. Anyways we had a great night with great staff and other local customers and definitely recommend the foods we tried along with mojito. This is a top place for us now that we live just down the road. Although not sure I need another mojito anytime soon.

We had dinner here on a stormy night. Our party of 6 had about a 30 minute wait so we sampled a few mixed drinks. Upon being seated I promptly ordered a dozen oysters. I bribed my son into trying one and he did not enjoy them as much as I do, but he did manage to keep it down. These were some of the meatiest oysters I've ever had. Main courses were served and everyone enjoyed their meals. Our waitress was very good and was always around to refill drinks. If I lived closer this would become one of my favorite places to eat.

I recently dined at PJ's Oyster Bar and was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch - friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable staff made us feel right at home.

The real star of the show, however, was the food. We started with the hush puppies, which were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, served with a sweet honey dipping sauce that paired perfectly.

For my main course, I opted for the grouper nuggets, and oh boy, were they delicious! Fresh, tender, and cooked to perfection. The breading was light and didn't overpower the fish.

But what really caught my attention was their mudslide - it was hands-down one of the best I've ever had! Creamy, rich, and expertly balanced, it was the perfect accompaniment to our meal.

Overall, PJ's Oyster Bar exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're a seafood lover looking for exceptional quality and service, look no further. We can't wait to come back and try more of their offerings!

We would definitely eat here again. Food was good, would not get the lobster roll again but the clam chowder was DELICIOUS as was my husbands blackened grouper sandwich. Hush puppies were the BEAT I’ve ever had! Atmosphere is great and the service was phenomenal!!! Drinks were also good. They have a nice sized parking lot and we got there at 3:30 so we were seated immediately.

We ate here twice last week, once dining in and once getting carry-out. The food was excellent both times. The service in the restaurant was truly excellent and our server was friendly and welcoming. The outdoor dining space is comfortable and I prefer it to the interior. There are hula hoops outside for kids (and adults) to play with. If you love coconut shrimp, theirs is really good. Their baked potatoes are also exceptionally tasty. It's often less crowded than other nearby restaurants and easier to get a table.
