Check in was easy. Spacious waiting room! I was taken back within five minutes. Got my x-ray and was sent right to a room. PA in within five minutes. Just a very pleasant experience. My husband went to Kennedy White for his knee issue. They are very good at what they do but it is crowded and takes a long time there.

No one likes to go to the doctor, but when you have too, you want a positive experience, and that’s exactly what I got from Coastal Orthopedics. The staff was so pleasant and I didn’t have to sit in the waiting room forever. Courtney, Dr. Lamar’s PA is wonderful. She’s so patient and answered all my questions. She took her time, I didn’t feel like I was a burden. Dr. Lamar was fantastic. Going through everything with me so I understood what was going to happen and what to expect, again, I didn’t feel rushed and he took his time with me. He’s an amazing surgeon! My knee looks great. I had no bruising and minimal swelling! Surgery is scary and this office took some of that fear away! I’m very grateful.

Dr Lamar is very experienced and very knowledgeable about all of the orthopedic issues I have. His assistant Jason is often my first step to diagnose and treat my condition. I always leave there feeling better and knowing what is going on with my body.

Dr Lamar and his PA team are amazing!! They’ve been helping me stay active and be as pain free as possible since 2010. They all listen and take the time to explain things and let you have an active voice in your care and long-term treatment when you have chronic issues. I highly recommend Dr Lamar and team!!

I had a total knee replacement December 8, 2023. I recently went for my one year follow up appointment. All is well and I’m very pleased with the almost invisible scar that remains from the incision. I chose to have the Mako laser and to rent the Nice ice machine. Both were elective but well worth the additional cost. I utilized 10 weeks of PT to get the knee joint flexible. Overall it was a good experience.

Dr Lamar gave me a total knee replacement in 2010. It was the best thing I did to relieve pain and give me back the mobility I needed. He was very professional and patient oriented. Visited him again 14 years later when he told me my knee was in perfect shape. Recommend him highly.

Dr Lamar was extremely professional with a wonderful disposition. He clearly listened to my issues and provided me with a treatment program that has me feeling relief after one day. I highly recommend him and the practice. His staff is wonderful as well!
