We had a terrible experience with ForSaleByOwner. We were unpleasantly surprised by legal issues which every lawyer I talked to about those issues was amazed at how dumb the situation was. The problem was apparently caused by a line in the agreement you have to sign in order to sell your house on their website, which they don't communicate to you in plain English anywhere on their website or the agreement. Genuinely, one of the worst experiences of my entire life.
